The Henry Royce Institute is inviting feedback from across the materials science community through a new Communications & Engagement Survey.
This quick, anonymous questionnaire is aimed at better understanding how individuals engage with Royce and how the Institute can improve communications and information-sharing strategies.
Why We’re Asking
We’re committed to strengthening connections with our industry partners, researchers, policymakers and the wider public. This survey focuses on three key areas:
Familiarity with Royce activities: from the National Materials Innovation Strategy to technical training and facility access schemes, we want to know what aspects of our work you’re aware of and where we can improve.
Communication preferences: whether you prefer newsletters, social media or webinars (or a combination), your feedback will guide us in delivering timely, relevant updates in ways that suit our community.
External engagement priorities: your input on events such as the Advanced Materials Show and the Materials Research Exchange or other sector-specific conferences which will help shape our future involvement across the materials community.
Help shape our Future Communications Strategy
Your voice matters. Whether you’re a researcher, industrial stakeholder, technical specialist, policymaker or Royce member, your feedback will directly inform how Royce communicates and engages. We’re also exploring the potential for new platforms for more effective regular engagement such as TikTok or Threads and want your input on where we should go next.
All responses are completely anonymous, and data will be aggregated to ensure privacy.
